S.J Bullion ("we", "us", "our") values your trust. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have when you use our website, our Android and iOS mobile apps, and our bullion booking services (together, the "Services").

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to run your account and fulfil your orders:

• Account and business details: your username, email address, mobile number and address, and, if you provide them, your company or firm name and GST number.
• Identity document: a copy of your Aadhaar card, if you choose to provide it, so that we can verify your identity before approving your account.
• Password: stored only in hashed form. We cannot see your password.
• Orders and transactions: the products you book, quantity or weight, the booked rate, the payment method you select, order status, and the invoices we issue to you.
• Device and notification data: a push notification token from your device, so that the app can send you order updates and rate alerts.
• Technical data: information our servers record automatically, such as your IP address, browser or device type, and the date and time of your requests. Our website also uses a session cookie to keep you logged in.
• Messages: the name, contact details and message you send us through the contact form, by email or by phone.

We do not collect or store credit or debit card numbers. Payments are settled directly with S.J Bullion using the method selected for your order (for example, bank transfer by RTGS). Our apps do not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone or photos.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create, verify and approve your account, and to let you log in.
• To send one-time passwords (OTPs) to your email for registration and password reset.
• To accept, process, deliver and cancel your bookings and orders.
• To prepare bills and GST tax invoices for your transactions.
• To send you order updates, rate alerts and important service notices.
• To answer your questions and provide customer support.
• To keep the Services secure, prevent misuse, and meet our legal and tax obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

• Service providers: companies that help us operate the Services, including our web hosting provider, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (to deliver push notifications) and our email service (to deliver OTPs and account emails). They receive only what they need to perform that service.
• Tax and e-invoicing: when a GST tax invoice or e-invoice is generated for your order, the invoice details (such as your name, address and GST number) are submitted to the government GST e-invoicing system as required by law.
• Legal requirements: when we are required to do so by law, a court order or a government authority, or when it is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of S.J Bullion, our customers or others.

4. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If your account is closed, we keep the records that we are legally required to keep, such as tax invoices and transaction records, for the period required under applicable law, and we do not use them for any other purpose.

5. Deleting Your Account

You can ask us to delete your account at any time:

• In the app: open Profile and choose Delete Account.
• By email: write to sjbullionlive@gmail.com from your registered email address.

Our team reviews each request. Once it is approved, your account is closed and you will no longer be able to log in. Records we must keep by law are retained as described in section 4. Step-by-step instructions are on our Support page.

6. Security

We protect your information with measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) between your device and our servers, hashed passwords, and access restricted to authorised staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your password private and tell us straight away if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

7. Your Rights

You may ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct information that is inaccurate, to delete your account, or to withdraw a consent you gave earlier. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.

8. Children

Our Services are meant for businesses and for individuals aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the "Last Updated" date above. Please review this page periodically.
